Awareness about Nationwide Campaign for Swacchh Bharat Mission
The Prime Minister has announced a nationwide campaign for Swacchh Bharat Mission which is associated with raising the prestige and image of the country and also the self-respect and dignity of Indians. To spread awareness and to evoke sensitivity to virtues of sanitation and cleanliness through participation in “SwachhtaPakhwada” (1st to 15th Sept., 2017) and for making it a huge success, Guru Nanak College of Education has constituted a Committee of Teachers and Students named “Swachhata hi Sewa” Committee.

The main purposes of the Committee are:
- Organising these events successfully by ensuring higher participation from the students.
- Publicize through Social Network Platforms like Facebook, Twitter etc.
- Sending Winners Entries to further Competitions proposed & organised by Ministry of Drinking Water Sanitation.
- Documentation, Record maintaining as well as Report Writing of the Action-Taken of the above said Action Plan during Swachhata Pakhwada Weeks.
