  • SPECIAL ASSEMBLYON MONDAYTO CELEBRATE SWACHHATA DIWAS wherein speech/presentations to be made by students to instil the habit of cleanliness and to create awareness about ill-effects of fireworks, under the supervision of House Incharges.
  • POWERPOINT PRESENTATION at least one by each faculty member for all the students in the classes to emphasize the Importance of cleanliness and ill effects of fireworks
  • AIR-PURIFICATION BY PLANTATION COMPETITION in CCA slot by students under the supervision of House Incharges.
  • EXTEMPORE on “Cleanliness and ill effects of fireworks” in CCA slot by students under the supervision of House Incharges
  • BEST OUT OF WASTE COMPETITION in CCA slot by students under the supervision of House Incharges
  • DRAWING COMPETITION on “Cleanliness and Dream of Swacchh and Clean Bharat and Ganga Rejuvenation” to reiterate the Gandhian thought that ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’, by students under the supervision of House Incharges. Later on these pictures will be pasted on corridor walls of the college campus.

  • COLLAGE MAKING COMPETITION on “Cleanliness and Dream of Swacchh and Clean Bharat and Ganga Rejuvenation” by students under the supervision of House Incharges
  • EXTENSION LECTURE by an eminent personality to emphasize the Importance of cleanliness and ill effects of fireworks.
  • MAKING OF AN ECO-CLUB to ensure and sustain students’ participation in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Ganga Rejuvenation Campaign.
  • SUBMISSION OF ATLEAST ONE RECYCLED ITEM by each student by reusing the biodegradable and dry waste.
  • WORKSHOP on the theme “water sanitation and solid waste as career options and skill Development”.

PLACEMENT DRIVE IN GNCE

Every B.Ed. College aims that its pupil teachers should be recruited in reputed schools. In this regard, campus placements play a significant role. GNCE also organized two important placement events in the campus of college. (i) Career Fair in collaboration with VASEI (Verimind Advanced and Specialized Education Institute) and  (ii) Placement Drive (Career Mela@GNCE) By Sant Sujan Singh Ji International School, Delhi.

CAREER FAIR
(April 27, 2015)

Career Fair organized on 27 April, 2015 entertained the students of GNCE along with teacher trainees from other different colleges. A team guided by Dr. Prabhjot Kaur (CEO-VASEI) interacted with the candidates and assessed them with respect to requirements of different schools. On the basis of their assessment, the candidates from GNCE and other Colleges were shortlisted and were ensured that the profile abstracts of teacher trainees shall be circulated to almost 200 schools as per their assessment.

JOB MELA @ GNCE
(April 24, 2015)

A team of Sant Sujjan Singh School visited GNCE, and conducted interview sessions of B.Ed. students on 24 April, 2015, and 28 April 2015. Several students were shortlisted for further selection procedure for teaching jobs. It was a great and highly useful experience for pupil teachers.
