PROVISION FOR GRANTING SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITY

Disability is a state which hinders the way of progress and development of an individual and nation as well. This is such a factor which is creating difference among naturally empowered and less empowered. A sympathetic behavior towards disabled people is not a demand of such people but making them enable and independent is a necessity of the day.
Working on the notions of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Nanak College of Education (affiliated to GGSIPU) has forwarded a step of awarding Scholarship (Guru Nanak Dev Ji Pingal Kalyan Yojna) w.e.f. August, 2015 under which an amount of Rs. 1000/- will be granted on a yearly basis to help the students with disability studying in Guru Nanak College of Education, Punjabi Bagh.
