OLD STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION
Objectives of the association:
* To promote fellow feeling among the old students of the college.
* To concert measures for keeping the old students in close touch with the college and its activities.
* To encourage alumni to act as ‘ambassadors’ of the institute and to assist in the recruitment of future students.
* To provide information and guidance to present students in their career and social difficulties.
* To foster more extended relationships between present and former students.
* To organize and coordinate reunion activities of the alumini.
Office bearers:
PRESIDENT: S. Tejmeet Singh Sethi (Chairman)
VICE PRESIDENT: Dr. Jyoti Bhalla (Principal)
SECRETARY: Ms. Avneet Kaur, Ms. Manrich Kaur (Ex- Student Batch 2018-20)
MEMBERS: All faculty members and ex-students.
Activities of the alumini association:
1. The association shall have power to enroll members and call for periodical meetings to achieve the objjectives.
2. The association may organize sports, get togethers and social activities for the benefits of its members.
Rules for becoming a member of the association:
* Membership of the Association shall be open to all who are old students in the college.
* The eligible member shall submit his application for membership to the Secretary of the society. The Secretary will place the above applications before the next executive committee meeting to be held. If the executive committee accepts the application, the applicant shall become amember of the society.
* The executive Committee reserves the right either to accept or reject the application without citing any reason.
Duties of office bearers:
1. The President and Vice President will be responsible for recruiting new emmebers and organizing an Alumini Meet each year.
2. The Secretary and five emmebers will be responsible for inviting ex students arranging refreshments and organizing the activities at the Alumini Meet held each year.
The President will be responsible for maintaining a record of all the activities of Alumini Association.
